For the first time ever, we have developed a patent pending adhesive which allows for BOTH WET & DRY INSTALLATION. This means that you can install this product DRY in the same way you would with typical vinyl wrapping film and also WET in the same ways you would install a traditional paint protection film. For high stretch areas and in general, we do recommend to install WET as much as possible to retain as much gloss as possible and to also reduce visible tack lines.

Before colored paint protection film, you would have to choose between protecting your vehicle with clear paint protection film or customizing your vehicles color with vinyl wrapping film which does not provide the same functions and benefits as paint protection film.
Now, with our all new colored paint protection film, you finally get the best of both worlds in one single product. Brilliant PPF utilizes thermoplastic polyurethane, the highest quality material used across different paint protection films, and is injected with colored paint resin in between the layers allowing it to change the color of your vehicle and protect it simultaneously.
Due to the materials used in this product, not only does Brilliant PPF allow you to customize and protect your vehicle at the same time, it also provides the absolute highest level of shine and gloss available on the market with a wrapping film. Is Brilliant PPF A WET or DRY Installation?
Why Is This product better than vinyl wrap?
Vinyl wrap only offers the ability to change the color of your vehicle while this colored paint protection film not only changes the color of your vehicle but also offers every single benefit of paint protection film and an even higher gloss finish.
Vinyl wrap is constructed of a different material which does not have the ability to absorb and reject rock chip damage whereas paint protection films are constructed of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) which is an almost gel-like material that is able to not only absorb and reject damage from daily elements, but is also able to provide a paint-like extreme gloss finish.
Should I expect delays when ordering?
At the moment, we can deliver all products within the communicated lead times listed near the Add To Cart button on every product page.
Since Brilliant PPF is a produced-per-order product, this means that your ordered products are produced and shipped only after your order is placed. We try our best to carry all products in-stock, however, due to the extensive color availability of Brilliant PPF, we often run out of colors, hence why we provide direct shipment from our manufacturing facility to your door even if a color is out of stock.
Most out of stock colors are produced and shipped within 7-14 business days after an order is placed. For accurate order lead times, please view the stock indicator near the Add To Cart button.
If you are an installer, please make sure to keep lead times in mind when arranging drop-off dates for customer vehicles. We highly recommend scheduling vehicle drop-off only after the material is delivered to you.
what happens if brilliant pPF gets scratched or swirled?
Due to the nano self-healing top coating, Brilliant PPF films have the ability to self-heal any minor surface scratches and swirl marks by simply applying heat to the scratched areas. To heal scratches on the film, use one of the following methods:
- Using a heat gun at a safe distance and temperature, apply equal heat to the affected area.
- Park the vehicle under direct sunlight on a very hot day for a few hours.
- Pour boiling hot water over the affected areas.
Once heat is applied, you can watch as minor scratches and swirl marks disappear right in front of your eyes.
What Is The Best way to maintain brilliant pPF?
Brilliant PPF films have a very minimal nano ceramic top coating infused from factory which is done as a temporary protection until installers add a separate dedicated hard ceramic coating after installation. Unlike clear paint protection films, most colored paint protection film installations require installers to overlap material for full coverage which would not be possible if a hard coating was present on the surface of the films as the film would not stick to each other.
We highly recommend applying a separate dedicated nano ceramic coating over the entire vehicle immediately after installation of the film for easy maintenance.
The benefits of a nano ceramic coating include water resistance, ultraviolet protection, fade protection, dirt resistance, easier washing, easier maintenance, and many more active features.
What is the lifespan of this product?
The longevity of Brilliant PPF films depend entirely on the maintenance and aftercare of the film.
If maintained normally and washed on a normal basis, this film is rated to last a minimum of 10 years due to its protective properties.

Can I Trust Any Installer To Install Brilliant PPF?
Colored paint protection films should only be installed by very experienced installers who are experienced with both vinyl wrapping films and paint protection films.
Brilliant PPF requires full panel coverage like vinyl wrap but has the same installation procedures as paint protection film, meaning that it must be installed with patience and extreme attention to detail.
Corners and edges must be adhered and sealed properly to prevent lifting.
Any areas which require overlapping the film must be thought through carefully and must be cut very clean as the overlapping seam will be more visible than vinyl wrap due to the thickness of the TPU material.
