For the first time ever, we have developed a patent pending adhesive which allows for BOTH WET & DRY INSTALLATION. Is Brilliant PPF A WET or DRY Installation?
Why Is This product better than vinyl wrap?
Vinyl wrap only offers the ability to change the color of your vehicle while this colored paint protection film not only changes the color of your vehicle but also offers every single benefit of paint protection film and an even higher gloss finish.
Vinyl wrap is constructed of a different material which does not have the ability to absorb and reject rock chip damage whereas paint protection films are constructed of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) which is an almost gel-like material that is able to not only absorb and reject damage from daily elements, but is also able to provide a paint-like extreme gloss finish.
Should I expect delays when ordering?
At the moment, we can deliver all products within the communicated lead times listed near the Add To Cart button on every product page. Since Brilliant PPF is a produced-per-order product, this means that your ordered products are produced and shipped only after your order is placed. We try our best to carry all products in-stock, however, due to the extensive color availability of Brilliant PPF, we often run out of colors, hence why we provide direct shipment from our manufacturing facility to your door even if a color is out of stock. what happens if brilliant pPF gets scratched or swirled?
Due to the nano self-healing top coating, Brilliant PPF films have the ability to self-heal any minor surface scratches and swirl marks by simply applying heat to the scratched areas. To heal scratches on the film, use one of the following methods:
- Using a heat gun at a safe distance and temperature, apply equal heat to the affected area.
- Park the vehicle under direct sunlight on a very hot day for a few hours.
- Pour boiling hot water over the affected areas.
Once heat is applied, you can watch as minor scratches and swirl marks disappear right in front of your eyes.
What Is The Best way to maintain brilliant pPF?
Even though Brilliant PPF films already have a nano ceramic top coating infused into the film which prevents the film from being easily damaged by environmental elements, we always recommend going for the extra step and applying a separate dedicated nano ceramic coating over the entire vehicle for added benefits.
We produce two different versions of a very strong graphene nano ceramic coating developed specifically for use on vinyl wrapping films and paint protection films. Our graphene coatings provide elemental protection for 7-10 years when applied correctly.
The benefits of a nano ceramic coating include water resistance, ultraviolet protection, fade protection, dirt resistance, easier washing, easier maintenance, and many more active features.
What is the lifespan of this product?
The longevity of Brilliant PPF films depends entirely on the maintenance and aftercare of the film.
If maintained decently and washed on a normal basis, this film is rated to last a minimum of 10 years due to its protective properties.

Is This Film Hydrophobic?
Yes, Brilliant PPF films are infused with a nano ceramic graphene top coating which repels liquids and contaminants such as but not limited to water, dirt, ultraviolet damage, and other environmental elements.
We do still highly recommend adding an extra level of protection by applying a dedicated Flect graphene nano coating over the entire vehicle once the wrap is complete for even stronger protection on both covered and uncovered areas.

Brilliant PPF Maintenance Instructions
Caring for and maintaining Brilliant PPF® colored paint protection films is nearly identical to any other painted surface as far as gloss colors go, however, when it comes to maintaining SATIN finish colors go, you must be very cautious in how you take care of your vehicle or your customers' vehicle.
GLOSS FINISH COLORED PPF CERAMIC COATING INSTRUCTIONS
When it comes to our gloss finish colored paint protection films, you can use most products on the market that are designed for regular vehicle paints and surfaces. This includes ceramic coatings, graphene ceramic coatings, ceramic boosts, ceramic spray coatings, and more. Our gloss finish is equivalent to that of a painted vehicle, so it can be coated and maintained with just about any product.
Even though Brilliant PPF® films are infused with a hydrophobic nano coating from factory, we do still highly recommend applying a separate liquid nano ceramic coating once the film is installed and before it leaves the installation area. This is to provide extremely easy maintenance for the vehicle owner. For this, we at Flect have developed two different graphene ceramic coatings rated to last 7-10 years which can be applied to any surface including paint, glass, trim, vinyl wrap, and paint protection film.
Once your Brilliant PPF wrapped vehicle is coated with a ceramic coating, maintenance will be very easy and can be maintained by simply using a detail spray or a ceramic boost spray.
SATIN/MATTE FINISH COLORED PPF CERAMIC COATING INSTRUCTIONS
When it comes to our matte finish colored paint protection films, it takes a high level of skill, patience, and experience to properly ceramic coat the film in order to provide long-lasting easy maintenance. You can not use just any product to coat and maintain satin/matte finish paint protection films due to the different film construction.
Satin and matte finish colored paint protection films, especially Satin Black, absorb cleaning chemicals and ceramic coating products extremely quickly and show any high spots very visibly, especially when in hot or humid environments, so in order to ceramic coat or seal a satin/matte finish film, you must follow the instructions very cautiously and meticulously. You also must only use very specific products which offer a longer wipe-off time in order to ensure you enough time to level the coating on the film before it dries. If you do not follow these specific instructions, you will likely have high spots, smudges, streaks, and/or fades of color on your film which will be visible under bright lighting or sunlight.
Step 1 - Ensure that the vehicle is washed thoroughly and properly with a pH neutral soap that does NOT contain any additives or sealants such as waxes or ceramics.
Step 2 - Make sure to fully and properly dry the entire vehicle. Ensure all panels are dry and contain zero moisture.
Step 3 - This is a crucially important part of the process and can make or break a smooth coating installation. The vehicle must be in a cool and dry environment. For the smoothest coating installation possible, installation area temperature should be between 65ºF and 72ºF. Make sure vehicle panels are cool to the touch. Do not continue until the entire vehicle is cool. If you touch a panel and feel any heat, do not coat the vehicle until it has cooled down.
Step 4 - Using a panel prep spray or a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water, wipe down every single panel of the vehicle that will need to be ceramic coated. Make sure to thoroughly dry each panel after prepping.
Step 5 - Using a new and clean applicator pad and your ceramic coating of choice, heavily soak your applicator pad with a generous amount of ceramic coating liquid. Allow this coating to soak into your applicator pad for about 30 seconds.
Step 6 - Apply another generous round of ceramic coating liquid to your applicator pad. Make sure it is generously wet. Starting with your first panel, create a square outline of the panel with your coating, followed by criss-cross motions, ensuring your panel is equally saturated with the coating liquid. Do not be cheap with the coating as this can cause a flawed installation. DO NOT apply more than one panel per time and DO NOT apply multiple sections per panel as this can cause streaking or color difference spots. If needed, for bigger panels like hoods or bumpers, use bigger applicator pads or have a second person help you apply the coating simultaneously.
Step 7 - Once you notice the coating start to dry and look sticky, using clean microfiber towel #1, begin to wipe off the excess immediately. Follow the same motions you used to apply the coating. Start off in cross-cross motions followed by circular motions to level off the coating on the panel. DO NOT lift your towel off of the surface and do not stop wiping motion until you notice that the panel is mostly leveled. Then, using clean microfiber towel #2, repeat the same wiping motions to further level and remove any excess coating off of the panel.
Step 8 - Using clean microfiber towel #3, go over the coated panel one more time, using only light pressure with your hand, making sure to level and dry the panel as smoothly as possible.
Once a panel has been coated, DO NOT allow the vehicle to be exposed to any damaging elements such as rain, dirt, debris, or water for at least 24-48 hours. Do not allow any overspray of any kind to touch coated panels as this can stain the newly applied ceramic coating.
